Accounts & Billing

Should you need help with creating an account or logging in, Extra Energy contact is recommended. Problems & Emergencies

For assistance with service problems or to report an emergency, ring the Extra Energy contact number on 0800 368 2970. If you are a prepayment customers, call 0333 300 0270 instead. To report a power cut, you can dial 105 from a landline or mobile. The telephone number may also be used to call and find out more information about a power cut in your area. If you smell gas, move to a place of safety and phone the National Grid Emergency Line on 0800 111 999. Lastly, if your meter is faulty and you are experiencing a loss of supply, please contact Extra Energy immediately on 0800 953 4774.

Moving Home

If you are moving home, call the Extra Energy helpline on 0800 953 4774 at least two working days before you move. You will need to provide Extra Energy customer service with your new address and final meter readings so that they will be able to provide you with a final bill. If you have an outstanding debt on the date you move, Extra Energy may arrange for the outstanding amount to be transferred to your new address or new supplier if you have decided to switch. Extra Energy does not provide an online form for moving home requests at this time.

Tariff Renewal

Between 49 and 42 days before your fixed tariff ends, Extra Energy customer service will contact you to provide information on their cheapest tariff options. If you wish to make no changes to your account, simply do nothing. If you do wish to make changes, call the Extra Energy contact number on 0800 953 4774 and speak with an advisor. Extra Energy contact is also recommended if your account is in credit or debit at the end of my fixed tariff, or if you have questions about submitting a meter reading.
